Faster Moviecat Kill Kill! Part 3

Another wave of movies to sail through.

Dangerous Blondes (1943) - Um, gotta admit, not recalling much on this one. An early noir with Evelyn Keyes and Dwight Frye in his final film. Fast paced old dark house type fun, fitting somewhere between there and more modern noir.
Grade: B

You'll Never Get Rich (1942) -
Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth are sublime together and I showed this so T could see them at work. Starts strong, but the convoluted Army hi jinks are annoying after a while and the fizz dissipates pretty severely by the finish. Still worth a peek for the duo dancing at their best and Fred charming us all.
Grade: B+

Kill Her Gently
(1957) - Late period noir - no great shakes, craggy loooong time vet Marc Lawrence the only familiar face.
Grade: C+

Then
it was on to Dallas and a parent/Mark rendezvous - fun until things got political, mostly sitting around and watching the tube. Stranger Than Fiction was rented and enjoyed mostly.

Then we arrive home from Easter and John Kline had been house sitting - he returned the key and then we saw the one week engagement at the Los Feliz 3 for...

(to be cont'd)
